Republicans don't believe in free speech anymore. They used to sure, but now you can't even watch cable tv without every last word bleeped out because some 5 year old in kansas who can't even understand what they are talking about might be watching. Republicans used to be the anti-war party. They were elected to end vietnam!!! Now they are the party of warfare with anyone who makes us mad! Republicans used to stand up for civil rights. Now they are the party of bigots. Many southerners were once democrats. they also used to stand for getting rid of the tax system. But now they just support tax cuts. And they used to be the party of progressives, don't believe me look up teddy Roosevelt!. Now they are the party of no-conservatives. they also were the party that believed in being bi-partisan when the time was right. if republicans were the way they used to be I have to say i'd be tempted to join their party!... read more
